Medicare Part C

Medicare Part C

Original Medicare, Part A & B, covers about 80% of all approved necessary medical procedures. However, the remaining 20% is your responsibility. With Medicare there are two options to cover that 20%. The first, is a Medicare Supplement Plan that would cover the cost that Medicare Part A & B does not cover. A Medicare Supplement plan will only cover Medicare approved necessary medical procedures.  A few plans recently started to offer other benefits. The second option is a Medicare Advantage Plan. Medicare Advantage Plans are offer by many private Health Insurers.
